The famously curvy singer lost a few kilos and ditched the fags when she underwent vocal chord surgery last year, but a source has told The Sun she has well and truly caught the fitness bug.
"Adele has found so much more energy now she's quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she's halfway there," said the source.
Apparently Adele, who has been the target of many a fat jibe, has taken up Pilates and jogging and works out at home twice a week with a personal trainer.
But the 23-year-old is also keen to minimise any controversy over her newfound fitness obsession, telling friends that it's about being healthy, not about losing weight.
The award-winning singer has been very vocal about her deliciously female figure in the past, saying she has no interest in being a "skinny mini".
Now that sounds like a well-worn celebrity yarn.
