Daniel Radcliffe goes naked on Broadway!

 10/04/2008 7:32:00 AM, CelebrityFIX Prev Next Harry Potter ex-tween star Daniel Radcliffe is taking his nudie theatre show to the US!

Jaws dropped when the ex-wholesome pre-teen bared all as part of his role in Equus in London last year. The show was such a big success that Daniel has been confirmed to reprise his role on Broadway this year - start saving up for tickets, pervs!

Daniel commented that his Broadway debut "will be amazing, but I will be terrified because I was talking to Richard Griffiths about playing New York and he said the most stupid thing you can do is underestimate New York audiences."

"I would be very nervous because I think (the audiences are) even more discerning than in London."

Considering how many people are currently seeing the Legally Blonde musical in New York - somehow we don't think the audiences will be that fussy!

I though that he wasa good rolemodel but no he definelty shouldnt of done it!
daniel looks cool......... but i don't encourage his nudity he should have not done that..... why aren't there any good films without such scenes.......
I agree with 'Get Real'. Just get over it!! There are heaps of other issues that you should be concerned about other than Daniel's nude broadway show. What about the Murray? What about the animals over in India and Africa? Wat about the drought? Get a grip on real life and look at the bigger picture! and Good on Dan Radcliffe! He's doin a great job! sure he's been caught up in some bad things, but he's a star!! GOOD ON YA MATE!! =)
Perhaps unlike many of the respondents, I have actually read the play in question. Although this _was_ many years ago (7-8 or so), I remember 'Equus' as being a very interesting play of perspectives...and a skilled actor should be able to make subtle work of the nuanced protagonist. Therein lies both depth and spaces in which to work! Ne'er mind 'yer pink bits', young Radcliffe (not that you'd read this), show us 'yer mettle'! I would find it interesting to meet the play again, not as a 'mere' script. Ahh well, 'tis not to be.
I agree with the last comment. He should have waited until all the publicity behind hp died down a little, just for his reputation with the children - or maybe until he could manage to form a better body =O btw dan is 18, turning 19 this july (I would know, his bday is 3 days after mine =D not that i care now anyway)
let us look at this hypothetically, a kid whos say, 9 yrs old loves harry potter movies and books, and is a fan of daniel radcliffe. they type in his name to an image search and up comes these sorts of pics, what kind of message is that sending? I respect how hard it is for child actors to move on with their career because they can be labeled as a childhood character. However, Dan has managed to try to break away from being just Harry Potter in the, i daresay, worst possible way. Its sad, gross and irresponsible.
What an obvious publicity stunt he probably realised that after Harry Potter no one will want him. Im sure Im not the only one whos noticed his inability to act which luckily for him tides in well with the Harry Potter character but not anywhere else so he should stop doing all this public nudity nonsense because its simply ridiculous and frankly a little disturbing I mean whoi wants to see "Harry Potter" naked? I mean really?
I really like the hp books n movies. But seeing Daniel in interviews and talk shows, he talks over the interviewer and his fellow cast mates all the time and is quite annoying. He's got to ride his wave till it breaks cos when hp finishes filming and the books have all been released we won't see much of him.
i red an artical and it's not him go on google and images u'll c them pics clickone look at it closely and its not him it just a guy who does really looks like him seriously i can tell.
Get Real people!! just reading all the latest comments I feel there is no understanding for the art that our good fellow Daniel has and is committed too. Get real he's doing a great job and we should be more worried about the plight of the Dancing Bears in India. Daniel, keep up the good work you are a champ. Lot's of love from a mother of a teenage boy fan.
