Madonna compares media's treatment of Britney to witchcraft

If I had gazillions of $ in the bank people could say whatever the hell they like about me... it's about time these whinging celebrities get over it!

i no where she's coming from and to a certain point i do agree with her. people derive their pleasure from other people's pain

I have read and considered this article and the comments which followed, and in my view, the single most disturbing aspect in the whole situation has nothing to do with Britney or Madonna, it's the atrocious spelling and grammar contained in the commentary! Nevermind Britney, someone get these people back to school! My six year old daughter uses better English.

First of all, to Mick of London, How on earth can you say Madonna is a talentless gimmick. She has turned out hit after hit for the past three decades. I think her music is fantastic and still looks better than women half her age. Me thinks you might be peeved at her for invading your shores.....? I wouldn't say Britney is great, but there is talent there. The treatment of Britney has gone too far. Admittedly she chose to live in the limelight, but the media have to know when enough is enough. I would go stir crazy too if I couldn't live a normal life. Everyone is becoming far too judgemental of others instead of focussing on their own lives. I hope Britney sorts herself out, gets her kids back, and earns the type of respect she deserves. And if people like Madonna want to help her, that's great. Good onya Madge!

Madonna, get a grip on yourself. Again she is bringing herself into the spotlight - she hasn't had much media coverage lately. And as for Britney, when she first started out on her career I was a fan. But when she changed her tune - I changed my likes and her music wasn't one of them. She used to be a lovely girl and I think it is just the spotlight that has changed her, and lets face it, the paparazzi are enough to drive anyone crazy. I hope that she pulls through so that she can go back to being a successful person and a mother who can actually see and look after her children

All Religions are built on the promise of meeting needs , Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, all religions that is why most people join a religion because like Britney no one is exempt we all have needs. So 99% of people who follow a religion because each one promises them that their religion will meet their need... then what's occured new religions pop up they say the fastest way to make money is start a new religion many that are occults, new age that wasn't there like God the father ( Adam and Eves day)whom once was worshipped by Islam, Jews, Christians yet bitterness caused Ishmael to leave start Islam, Jews and Catholics religious people sent Jesus to the Cross, and Kingdom people not Christians who are now labelled with the religious Catholics, Anglicans etc why we separate they're not meeting the needs why because True Christianity is not a religion it's a relationship that many born again Christians have that Adam had that Britney and the world search for an only by the holy spirit

Madonna makes the statement lets go and save her !! you know whether it be Madonna, Ben Cousins, and the many Celebrities who have lived a lifestyle where there's being high expectations, where the whole world watches them sort of like the royal family yet you find that many of them fall, like Adam and Eve they fell why is this? one may ask yet the answer is what many although it's truth don't want to hear and that's they became independent from God and violated many of the laws of his heavenly government , you can choose a President, but you cannot choose a King , a King chooses who follows him our governments choose who governs us and know this Jesus didn't bring a religion he brought everything Adam lost at the fall and he brought a government everything mankind desires a Kingdom, hope, love etc that's what's empty is Britneys life ... she's chasing acceptance like many of man and God just sits and waits for all to run into his arms he loves and forgives all... the Pope isn't God

I'm no fan of Britney and I've had my fill of the media draining every ounce of blood out of her. For her sake I hope she pulls through and then maybe show some real talent. I think too many of us are too quick to judge, and judge harshly we do. Look in the mirror first and heal yourself before you pass judgment on others.
