The Material Girl wore this lovely Stella McCartney frock to the MET Ball on Monday, but when asked what she thought of the design, she confessed to reporters, “I feel fat in my dress.”
Ex-friend turned arch-enemy Gwyneth Paltrow was also at the event and was also wearing Stella McCartney, prompting some conspiracy-loving bloggers to speculate that there was some bitchiness at play.
Perhaps Madonna thought Gwyneth got the better frock? Or perhaps she wanted to punish Stella for designing for the enemy. Accusing a designer of making you look fat has got to be one of the worst insults imaginable in that industry, right?
