Demi has cancelled her existing concert dates with the Jonas Brothers to seek help for "emotional and physical issues," her rep has confirmed.
"Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time," was the official statement.
"Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that.
"[Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."
TMZ report Demi is not seeking treatment for drug use, but their sources say she was in a physical fight with a female member of her tour recently, that was apparently a 'catalyst' in her rehab move.
Demi's estranged father Patrick Lovato reckons the strain of being in the public eye is responsible for his daughter's meltdown.
“There are a lot of pressures," he said.
"That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney."
While he was not told his daughter had decided to check into rehab, he insisted his daughter will be "fine" and that she's very "strong." Get well soon, Demi.
