We think Nicolas Cage was going for a kind of 90s Brad Pitt thing here... but ended up with a touch of late-last-decade Mickey Rourke.

Debuting his new 'do at WonderCon in San Francisco recently, Nicolas explained he'd gone for the bombshell look for his upcoming role in Drive Angry.

Hopefully the shock of hair indicates he's gonna start playing crazy villains again - 'cos goddamn we could give those 'earnest-looking dad' roles a rest!
