The sweet-as-pie country music star — who's rumoured to be dating New Moon spunk Taylor Lautner — donated the money to some of the schools she'd visited since rising to fame, contributing to teachers' salaries, book funds educational programs.
"Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education," said Taylor. "The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back."
Taylor celebrated her big day with a Christmas themed party, which she even catered herself — she spent the night before baking Christmas cookies for family, friends and her tour crew.
