Photoshop fail: What happened to Demi's hip?

Demi Moore might be getting on a bit, but surely she's not ready for a hip replacement?

Either the screen siren has had some anatomically impossible surgery done to her left hip, or she's fallen victim to some seriously crappy Photoshopping.

Appearing on the cover of W magazine this month, Demi's usually athletic body has been whittled down to the skeletal standard expected of a runway model. And thanks to the magic of airbrushing, her hip has actually ended up narrower than her thigh.

A spokesperson for the mag insists that the photo retoucher "did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary" to the image. In other words, "Yes she's been Photoshopped, but that's what we do to everyone."

The spokesperson adds, "Demi is an extraordinary beautiful woman and we feel our cover reflects that."

Well, a missing hip is pretty extraordinary!

AntiAno?? Its a thing called FAST METABOLISM! How slack is it to say that any chick who is a size 6 who appears in the magazine are anorexic? Just to let you know some people are naturally small. Sometimes they can't even help being skinny. What if you saw me walking down the street? I have a regular lifestyle but I am a tiny girl with massive breasts. I suppose now Im anorexic and Ive had a breast enlargement. But yeah, clearly this photo has been photo shopped- I agree with Jess. I use photoshop too. Its disgusting to see people who call size 6 people anorexic. Jealous, Possibly?
She doesn't need to be airbrushed because she is stunning for 47 but her *** of an agent insists on it. Yes this has been airbrushed as are the majority celebrities photos No matter how you lean, your hip never goes in more than the leg line. She should get rid of her agent and employ a woman. She could get on the aging gracefully bandwagon.
Nope sorry it's not photo shopped . Demi is pretty thin and its pretty obvious that she is leaning to one side of her body putting all the weight to one of her hips . Try the pose yourself and take a pic , she is leaning to one side and the cloth, wrap , is in the way of seeing more of the hip that has less weight on it . Wake up people and use your brains !
I'm 16 years old and I use photoshop and other editing software frequently. You airheads who are saying her hips, chest, waist, ect have not been retouched are sorely mistaken. Its obvious in the blown up pic, her hip is not shaped right. So what if she's leaning? It still isn't right. And there is NO WAY IN HELL a picture appearing on the cover of a magazine is barely photoshopped! or not photoshopped at all for that matter. Lawl to the *** who dont understand photoshop.
Due to recent controversies involving photoshopping models to look impossibly thin, OF COURSE W magazine is going to choose this picture!!! I've seen this magazine cover more times in the last week than I have in my entire life. Great move W! All publicity is good publicity!
Give the girl a break, I have naturally thin hips and my child could not pass though them during birth, you must all have your head in the clouds on this subject..........some girls just don't have hips.......
well now if thats not photoshoped then she is Anorexic! thats just discusting, seriously, "a little lean" is an under estimate, and i'll tell you why they are picking on these details. It's because they trying to encourage a non-Anorexic generation. Since every single magazine i look at has skinny anorexic woman, its terrible and deffinately unhealthy for other woman, and puts us under aot of pressure to be a size 6. Which for alot of woman, its an unreachable goal.
As most thin people will know, the bend in your leg starts a couple of inches under the hip bone you can see protruding on Demis' left side. If you were to shift your weight over to the right of your body causing your right leg to be straight and put a slight bend forward in your left leg and moved it slightly left, this would give the 'chopped off' appearance you can see here. This is also cemented by the fact she is leaning slightly to the right which suggests she has her weight more on that side. Add a bulky piece of material around the lower hip and voila! We have a 'photoshopped' hip, or leg, or whatever it is the media is saying...
"This lady has achieved the highest status as an actor,without taking her clothes off.Her anatomy is between her and her G.P. Good luck to her" uhhhh, obviously didnt see striptease did you?
ummm...timbo....have you not heard of, or seen, striptease?? LOL or Indecent Proposal even??
