Mel Gibson welcomes baby number eight with Russian mistress

With all the brouhaha about Jude Law's love child, we'd almost forgotten that Mel Gibson had one on the way as well.

Mel split from his wife earlier this year when Russian actress Oksana Grigorieva fell pregnant with his child.

The pair welcomed a baby girl called Lucia on Friday in an LA hospital.

"Everything is great! They couldn't be happier," a friend has told People magazine. "Everyone's healthy and thrilled. He loooves it!"

Mel has seven children (six sons and a daughter) with his ex-wife Robyn.

Madatmel i find it unfair that you use the term "LEGITIMATE kids"! It is not the childs fault it was conceived!and saying the child has to grow up knowing it wrecked a family is a crazy thing to say the child didnt wreck the family mel and the mistress did that. It's views like yours that can cause many problems in this world.
hasnt he herd of contraception. i mean he doenst seem all to happy to be having the child.
i bet the poor babys hideous with that rubbish for a dad and that thing as a mother. and it has to grow up knowing it wrecked a family. how sick of mel, cheating on his wife who had 7 kids with him!! did he even THINK about his LEGITIMATE kids?? what a man-***!! pathetic loser. i hope his *** cheats on him.
I guess killers can get off murder using alcoholism as an excuse on the grounds of diminished responsibility ... Mel's drunken ramblings will follow him for the rest of his life ... sensational journalism ... but the ones he insulted (apart from him self) will go on soberly killing people, treating them as caged animals that retaliate once breaking point is reached (anyone would retaliate using any means available if one is caged between a high wall)... We do remember the famous dividing wall ... now there is another being built...

These two look fantastic together and could do wonderful things as a couple to bond our world
I couldn't give two stuffs about Mel and his new gf. I feel sorry for the baby for having cheating liars as parents and i also feel for Robyn and her 7 kids.
