Miley Cyrus voted worst celebrity influence of 2009

16-year-old Disney starlet Miley Cyrus is a worse influence on kids than Britney Spears or Kanye West, according to a new web poll.

Those countless photo scandals (both skanky and racist) must have finally come back to bite her on the bum because it's Miley's own peers who are voting against her.

The teenager scored a whopping 42 percent of the vote on AOL's JSYK.com, a website aimed at 9 to 15-year-olds, wining the title of 'Worst Celebrity Influence' by a landslide.

Coming in second place and third place were Britney Spears and Kanye West respectively.

Miley may be a bad influence, but her popularity hasn't exactly taken a total nosedive. She still managed to score fourth place in the website's poll for 'Favourite female artist'!

of course Miley is going to have people who call her a bad influence if every tiny slip up she ever has is blown way out of proportion and posted everywhere! She's still a kid she's gonna make mistakes! she can't win, she gets bad publicity for acting too mature and she gets bad publicity for not being a mature role model, how is she supposed to be a kid and an adult at the same time! Of course she got voted the worst influence, she is the most known teenager around the world and the paparatzzi never leave her alone so they catch her ever mistake!! she is a beautiful talented young woman, she is growning up and moving on from that disney girl that she first started out to be. she isn't going to be a teen sensation forever, people grow up and it no one can handle a celebrity growing up watch out for when your children do! don't worry Miley, i Gotcha back babe... haha xoxo

Miley Cyrus is a ***, I agree. But could the polls be any more skewed? I mean, has anyone really heard of this website the poll was taken on? If so, do you use it regularly? And if it's aimed at kids as young as 9 years old, then their parents are probably watching them, or using the computer with them. So of course, every mum with a little girl will click Miley Cyrus, because she will be all like "OMG MILEY IS TEACHING MY KIDS TO BE RACIST N ***". And then you have to think about all the people that didn't have an opinion so they clicked on the top of the list (which was likely Miley Cyrus) just to see the results.
Leave Miley alone no one care about her pictures or whatever she can do want she wants and she doesnt have to listen or read about anything that you son of a *** post up she is a good role model. She is a Great Person and Singer and doesnt have to put up with your Bull crap OK! and no ones perfect so *** off and leave her alone..
I totally agree, little kids look up to her but what do they see, a young teenaged girl posing nude for magazines,pole dancing on stage and having racist photo's on her myspace!! little kids will all think this is right cause she is apparently their "hero"!! she is 17 for god sakes and the nude photo's were taken when she was 15!! that is wayyyyy tooo young!! i know that no-one is perfect but she should know that nude photo's at the age of 15 and pole dancing at the age of 17 i wayy wrong its called common snese!!!
serseriously guys, shes only, what, 16 or 17? shes still growing up and learning the goods and bads of life, you cant expect her to be the most perfect person on earth and be a role model for children. Sure they look up to her but its their choice, shes a human and she has to be able to learn mistakes from bad choices without paprazzis and all these people telling her what to do and what not to do. everyones different and if thats how she has some fun, she should do it without anyone telling her otherwise.

think about this, how hard would it be for you growing up in the spotlight? sure she chose to, but itd still be pretty darn hard so leave the poor girl alone! a huge percent of teens her age are doing such worse things and we dont hear about them on gossip websites. anyway half the stories about her are blown hugely out of proportion! saying she pole danced at the awards show?! as if ! i saw it and all she did was squat for abit and then pull herself back up, its not like she was grinding her hips against it or swinging around it! LEAVE MILEY ALONE, STOP HATING AND LOVE HER !
Ok so what is the big deal about Miley Cyrus?! She is a bad influence, she's reportedly awful to work with, she's just another Disney plastic-fantastic doll. ....and yes - she is badly dressed.
