Edward Furlong on suicide watch

Drugs and former child stars go together like peas and carrots, so sadly it's no great surprise that Terminator 2 star Edward Furlong has turned out to be a total and utter train wreck.

The 32-year-old is currently in lock-down after threatening to kill himself. But what he doesn't know yet is that his wife, Rachel Kneeland, has also taken out a restraining order against him.

Rachel has filed a motion to keep Edward away from her and their three-year-old son because of his violent behaviour.

A legal statement from Rachel claims, "Edward grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me, made threats of more violence, left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats. He is smoking cocaine and doing other various drugs. He is very unpredictable."

Rachel says she's received "over 20 messages/text messages in the last 36 hours" from her husband but she's too afraid to tell him about the restraining order while he's still locked up, because she's worried "he would lose it".

Poor woman.

I think he will be the next celeb to die on drugs what a shame.
Poor thing. Hope he kicks da habit wile da kds young so he can start fresh again. Drugs make him da visous person his becumn. Bles him.
People actually think he's a good actor? He stunk up Pet Sematary 2 worse than the script did!
for christ sake, all stars go thru *** like this. drugs, booze, its just what money can buy. Give him a break. He is a great actor and i agree with the above comment, if he was offered a good role for once instead of scrounging arond at the bottom of the jar, maybe he would have motovation to clean his act up! i love edward furling!!!
As Ez said, Edward Furlongs wife's name is Rachael Bella and they are in the process of divorcing. His ex-girlfriend (and manager) also had Edward charged with brutality and Soleil Moon Frye dumped him because of his drugs and violence. I wouldn't call him a "poor guy"....when he has proven he is "a total ***".
Terrible to hear. This guy was brilliant in American History X, one of my fave films. I pray that he finds the strength to fight his demons x
Even though he hasn't had a decent role in however many years, I think people would like to see him back on screen. If a facility is what he needs to recover, then perhaps it wont be too long for audiences to see Edward Furlong the actor reappear, everyone appreciates a comeback story. As for his wife, well we don't know what goes on behind closed doors so we the public can't confirm or deny any allegations, its not for us to make judgements on other peoples relationships, especially those we have no insight to. For any person to go to media outlets and reveal details about their relationship with public figures I think belittles their own selves and reveals the truer nature of that person, it all just comes down to respect for yourself and for others.
i was a big fan of eddie's since he stared in T2 and seen all him movie's when i was younger but its a shame he went down the wrong side of the road and into the drug world...i feel for his wife rachel but guess eddie has alot of demons to battle and hope he gets the help he needs to become a better person n a good father to his son.
