Daniel Radcliffe responds to gay rumours

Don't let the pink shirt and paisley tie fool you, Daniel Radcliffe is straight. But he doesn't mind if you call him gay!

Responding to a question about Harry Potter character Albus Dumbledore's homosexuality, Dan took the opportunity to make a comment about which way his own door swings as well.

"I grew up around gay people my entire life, basically, that's possibly why I'm quite camp, and some people think I'm gay when I meet them, which I think is awesome. It's always good to keep them guessing [laughs].

"I don't go on any blogs or chats or anything, but my friends are demons for them, and apparently someone said 'Daniel Radcliffe is gay. He's got a gay face!' [laughs] I really don't know what a gay face is."

Actually, we'd say he's got quite a gay voice, but maybe it's just the British accent!

Dan continues, " I think it's wonderful that Dumbledore was outed as gay ... Half of me thinks Jo Rowling just did that to see if she could p**s off the right wing, but I'm not sure how true that is. I think she had it planned, I think she always knew he was gay."

to all who have commented about not having a problem about daniel and his sexuality (whether he is gay or not) all i have to say is - u go girl! (or guy!) and for those u have a problem with it, well then, you have a problem, a big problem and you need to work it out asap. dont keep embarrasing yourselves.
Quite frankly, I dont care if he's gay or not! He's a great actor!
what a stupid thing to post on the internet! who cares if he's gay or not, it doesn't make a difference and doesn't concern anyone else. the people that wrote this are so bored of their own lives they need to feist upon someone elses and state rude, unnecessary remarks about them. even if he was gay, its not bad so why should it be discussed? its like discussing a celebrity who is a vegetarian or something, he'd still be just like everyone else.

Who are the idiots that make comments about being gay? All the young straight guys that are ugly and dont have any class or know how to dress well have to make themselves feel better by saying Daniel Radcliffe is gay in order to justify themselves for haing no taste or class. Just because someone isn't a loud mouthed beer chugging buffoon that wears dirty jeans and a shirt doesnt mean they are gay! And what is he purpose of saying someone is gay as Daniel stated it is not insulting to be called gay. They are probably just jealous that hes got a 24 year old woman as a gf and they wish they could get one.
English accents are the, cutest, best accents in the world. So don't dis them!
