Playmate Kendra: 'I'll be a strict Christian mum'

Newlywed Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson insists she's going to be a strict mother and wants her child to grow up with Christian values.

The 23-year-old, who last month wed American football player Hank Baskett, said, "Our child will definitely be Christian. We're going to be strict as well but make sure he or she is spoilt with love."

The former Playboy Playmate said she is enjoying every moment of her pregnancy — she's even got some baby names picked out.

"If it's a boy, Hank the fourth, and if it's a girl Arianna — we love Arianna. I'm feeling so good, I'm in my second trimester now at 14 weeks and I'm feeling like a whole new person, I feel great."

Is Kendra for real? We're finding it hard to imagine the former Playboy model being a strict religious mother. What do you think?

I find it nice that shes doing this. I am atheist myself but I do realise that christianity can bring up a child pretty well. My grandparents are christian and my mother is quite morally sound.
what a surprise, more americans trying to push their religious beliefs on their kids, when they've gone through life as carefree as they wanted. argh, typical.
good on kendra. i'm not big on christianity myself, but i do believe the religion and upbringing teaches some good wholesome morals. so most people may find it hard to believe, coming from an ex bunny, but everyone wants the best for their child. you're an entirely different person as a parent. how many people actually became that awesome fun-loving, no rules, no punishment, no-greens-if-you-don't-like-it, psuedo european mum or dad they always claimed to be? exactly.
The whole point of christianity is learning the wrong of your ways and accepting god into the life - which is what Kendra is doing. I think she will be a great mum. She seems really nice, I hope she has a nice life. Also, a not to all of you idiots - she has stated she NEVER SLEPT WITH HUGH. That was ***, plastic-surgery enhanced Holly's job. So back off, Kendra's awesome.
Oh come on, people. Forget her past. People change! I for one, believe she will be a fantastic mother. She really seems like she's truly enthusiastic about having a baby. Good luck to her!

I think she will be a great mum. Just because she dated n slept with hugh doesnt mean anything, Shes not still with him, she moved on to marry someone she loves because she wants something different for her life, yea her kids are gunna find out what she did but so what? Are you saying that she can never have kids because of who she was? God you's critics are pathetic!
seriously who are we to judge!!!If you live in a glass house and are perfect then by all means throw stones, but be careful one doesn't bounce back and smash your walls down!!!!I am sure she and her husband will do their best to be good parents and sorry but plenty of people who haven't slept with an 80 year old man or posed nude have been *** parents so shut the hell up and find a hobby instead of trying to predict how someone will be as a parent ......
