Harry Potter star hit with swine flu

It was only a matter of time before a celebrity came down with swine flu, and Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is the unlucky first.

The 20-year-old is under quarantine after contracting the virus and has had to take time off from filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

His publicist confirms, "Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu."

Luckily Rupert hasn't been affected too badly by the virus — which has killed 332 people worldwide — and he's expected to be on his feet again to join his castmates at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tomorrow.

Let's hope he wears one of those masks!

i hope that he gets better cause i don't want it 2 affect the harry potter movies.
I read about 4 days ago he's already better.
The media has blown it up dramatically. Everyday i hear on the news "another swine flu death", 10 seconds later they say "the 60 yr old man just had had chemotherapy for cancer" or "the 13 yr old boy got hit by a car, he had symptoms of swine flu" Lmao. It makes me want to put my head in a blender.
umm bubble pop electric is correct! although swine flu does kill ALL the people who died from it were already sick && had a weak ammune system! the news articles dont say that though... && FYI people still posting comments to Rupert... he was cleared from having swine flu last night!
deary deary meeee..! ppl everywhere arr getttin IT! but this is like the first actual sum1 to get IT! i reali hope he gets bettaaar. i wonda if otha ppl werkin on harry potter hav pig flu now..ah well. it'll pass rigght??
Thanx Libby, its good to know someone agrees with me. Thankyou very much.
Yes you CAN catch it, if someone has touched the hand rail that has swine flu and then u touch it and rub your eyes then u have it. The little boy probably did have something and if not he had a very bad immune system. I agree with dolly from k-town, its NOT A DEADLY DISEASE. EVERYONE WHO IS WORRYING ABOUT IT NEEDS TO GET A LIFE. Its just like a normal flu, everyone I have talked to has said that and I believe it too. Im sorry tayy, did I say i knew everything, because im pretty sure I didnt. I think next time you should THINK before you make that comment. Tootles
ok, just a reply to BUBBLE POP ELECTRIC FROM BUNDABERG.. YES, swine flu DOES kill and it has, a toddler in Australia had swine flu a little while ago and died from it, nothing else was worng with him, he was healthy, maybe it was just because he was young and he didnt have a very strong immune system, but still, he died from swine flu.. so get your facts right before you start posting comments like that. thanks.
Rup- i hope u get better soon cuz it dnt take me long to recover. i had swine flu (mild) and the day i had to get mii blood test i new i had it and i was in quarentine 2. it sux but i was a bit happy cuz that ment no1 cud come near me which ment no1 cud annoy me. i hope u get better soon cuz if its mild it wont last long like mine. and look after urself!!!
I hate how they are saying this is a deadly disease, you have less chance of dying from this then a normal cold. Seriously most people who have died from this have had other problems, such as heart problems etc. I am so sick of this being blown into something bigger then what it actually is.
