We love it when celebs use their star power to launch completely unrelated ventures in careers they know nothing about, it's such a gung-ho demonstration of the over-active self esteem that must have made them stars in the first place.
So, just as Mickey Rourke became a boxer, Frankie Munitz became a racing car driver and Arnie became the Governator, Jennifer Aniston is opening up a restaurant!
"Jennifer is really passionate about cooking," says an insider. "She recently had a new kitchen fitted and she loves it. She can cook anything from Mexican meals to Italian food to cakes. She does use cookbooks but mainly they are her own recipes. Everyone says she should open her own restaurant and she said she would love to."
Jen's still working on the planning so there's no word yet about where the restaurant will be and what kind of food she'll serve. But what the hey, she's Jennifer Aniston — she could serve rat burgers in the Omani desert and she'd still get customers queuing up just hoping to get an autograph.
