Leo DiCaprio's shoes stolen by tourists

Leonardo DiCaprio was left red-faced and barefoot after a group of fans nicked his shoes from outside a Japanese temple.

The Hollywood hunk was visiting a hilltop shrine in Kyoto recently when a group of American fans recognised him and asked him to pose for a photo. Leo turned them down because of a sign asking visitors not to take photos (aw, he's so PC) so the fans went after a memento of a different kind.

After Leo removed his Nike shoes to enter the temple, the thieving Yanks swiped them!

"They just ran off with them," says a witness. "The poor guy had to leave the place barefoot."

Leo's or not.. They're Nikes.. Id steal them regardless!!
Hmm, poor guy? Going home in socks? Oh dear, that sounds absolutely terrible... Ah well. I'm sure he can cope.
I just place a bid on the shoes . . they are on ebay
Seriously, though. You'd think people have better things to do than steal someone's SHOES when he went to the temple. Even if he was a celebrity... I just wish I could see the look on his face when he looked for his shoes and found .... NOTHING! Hahahaaa. I guess he'll need to keep a shoe guard to watch his shoes next time he goes to a place where he has to remove his shoes in case crazy fans decide to steal it.
omg LoL but poor Leo i wood hate for tht to happen to me xox
Aww how sweet of him to respect the temples wishes. But i must admit this is hilarious. It made my day :) lol
