Emma Watson is obsessed with Twilight

Emma Watson's dirty secret is out of the bag... the Harry Potter star is a Twihard! Like pretty much every other teenager the world over, she's completely obsessed with the vampire world of Twilight.

"I love those books," the 18-year-old admits to Elle. "My friend and I read them back to back.

"This is so sad, but I literally felt depressed when I finished reading them because I thought, 'Oh my God, what am I going to do now?'"

Well, maybe you could go and hang out with the star of Twilight Robert Pattinson, since you two go way back after working together on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Just a thought!

Also listed in her "guilty pleasures" is the teen show Gossip Girl, which Emma admits she's completely obsessed with.

"It's so wrong that Nate and Blair are getting back together," she moans. "Blair is definitely the more interesting character. If I was going to play either of them [Serena or Blair] I would play Blair.

"I love watching America's Next Top Model, too. My flatmate Sophie is in the British version of this series - it makes it extra tense."

Who would've though Emma had so much spare time to watch TV!

To all the people that say stuff like "how can such an intelligent girl can read such drivel and watch stupid shows blah blah blah" or "shes the worst character in harry potter yawn yawn yawn" basically any negative comments about her i have this to say. She is one of the richest people and shes barely out of high school. She is hot azzz and has awesome dress sense AND she is the inspiration for KARL LAGERFELD. At least she doesn't behave like most of the Twilight fans, who bashed Evanna Lynch for saying that Twilight will never going to have the sucess of Harry Potter. If I have to choose, I choose Evanna over Emma. But, at least Emma is a smart person and not a stupid fangirl.

Ive read all the books, seen the movie....anyways. I think its perfectly fine that she likes twilight, just cause shes in harry potter doesnt mean she cant like anything else. I dont agree with the person that said emma would do a great job as bella, Kristen Stewart is the best person for the job, I wouldnt change any of the cast.
I'll be the first to admit that I HATE Twilight. I think it's sexist, horrifying, poorly-characterized *** that should never have been published, and I agree fully with Stephen King when he said Smeyer can write worth a darn. That being said, though, I would never judge this girl for liking them, because, despite it's disturbing messages, it IS just a book series (which I used to like long before I learned how to look at things critically). And it's not like she's going around saying "I want to marry a guy just like Edward Cullen. He's so perfect!" If she did THAT, I might be more inclined to mark her off. But . . . whatever. It's really up to her, I guess. Just throwing out there that some antis are relatively sane. I have nothing to say about Gossip Girl, having never seen it, but what's wrong with indulging guilty pleasures every now and then?
In reply to "wat a lot of bull", Harry Potter isnt going to die anytime soon. Thats because the books are well-planned, detailed and fluently written. Twilight lacks character development, plot and has actual grammar mistakes in it. Harry Potter may be aimed at children, but there are millions of readers. True, millions of people read Twilight, but most of them wouldn't know good writing if it hit them in the face. I read the books, I loved them the first time. However once you get over the initial "omgz", you should realise the books are soppy and overdramatic. Twilight is succesful because thousands of insecure teenage girls read it. Bella is boring. Incredibly boring. She wines all the time and is such a misfit with her "brown hair, pale skin and like for books"(hold on a second, this sounds like Stephenie Meyer). People like it because they get the feeling someone like Edward could love this boring, annoying girl and it makes them feel better.
