A source told Star magazine that Anna had been chatting to Rihanna at the recent Costume Institute Gala about the cover.
"Anna told her Vogue absolutely loves her and really wanted to work with her," the source said. "Rihanna was ecstatic."
Since the nude shots surfaced, allegedly showing Rihanna in all her full-frontal glory, Anna magically cooled on the idea.
"Anna hasn’t returned any of her calls. Rihanna’s so upset... She hopes the people at Vogue change their minds."
