Chris Brown involved in new assault case

He's already facing charges of assault against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and now Chris Brown's legal troubles are getting even worse with a photographer filing a lawsuit against him for assault and battery.

Robert Rosen claims he was chased by Brown's security team at an LA gym after he snapped the R&B singer playing basketball in early March.

He says he was stopped by the gym's staff when he tried to leave, then fell down a flight of stairs trying to escape Brown's bodyguards who "picked him up by his shorts and physically assaulted him".

The paparazzo is suing Brown and the gym management for assault and battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and premises liability.

He says the incident left him "severely injured and disabled, both internally and externally".

But Brown's lawyer seems confident his client won't have to pay up. He says, "[This is a lawsuit] by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday. He's done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this."

Ok, we can clarify that chris assaulted rihanna and that he likes to bite people. But chris brown wasn't the one who actually hit the guy, right? Unless he ordered his bodyguards to assault wahhhteva his name is, then why should he be charged? And if he did order his bodyguards to attack the guy, then shouldn't the bodyguards know better than to not listen to him and not to physically assault the person? All of this over some photo of chris playing basketball? They went to an awful lot of trouble. Personally, i think this is all a bit suspcious, and they are all a bunch of crazy ***-monkey loonatics. But if it was me, then i would beat the crap out of someone who was snapping a shot of me around every corner. I don't like chris brown, but his music is the bomb, but this assaulting business is a load of crap.

do u people realize how hard and annoying it must be to have a bunch of ppl following you around snapping shots everywhere you go, everything you do, trying to get you into a compromising position so they get a money shot, up skirts etc..these paparazzi are vicious and they are just fed by the public who support their work. Think of this. If you get your photo taken at the beach, it is an invasion of privacy and you can sue and charge that person. Yet you can post a private picture of celebrity cellulite on the front page of an international magazine????? how does that work
