Pete tells Katie: "It's too late"

Peter Andre has turned down Katie Price's plea to give their marriage another chance, according to reports.

Pete filed for divorce two weeks ago and now Katie (aka Jordan) is begging him to take her back. She's quoted as saying, "If I'd known I was driving Pete away so badly I would have pulled back. I don't want a divorce, I just want us back as a family again."

But the Sunday Mirror claims Pete has refused Katie's pleas for a reunion, telling her, "I wish you had heard my pleas when we were married."

A friend told the paper, "[Pete] said, 'I will always love her. She's the mother of my children. She won't find another man who will love her like I do. But it just couldn't go on.'"

There's a media firestorm surrounding their separation but Katie claims most of the stories have been fabricated. She wrote on her Twitter account today, "i swear on my life i have done no exclusive interviews or comments neither have my friends to any mag or paper".

She will, however, be appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show on Friday night to give her first interview since the break up. Maybe that will give her the chance to set the record straight.
