Jennifer Garner has spoken out against the paparazzi's treatment of her 3-year-old daughter Violet. She says that while people love to see cute pics of her and Ben Affleck with their little girl and newborn bub, the truth is the photos only exist because the paparazzi stalk their family day and night.
"To call it a 'problem' is the hugest understatement in the world," Jen tells the Vancouver Sun. "There are no laws protecting children. They have no right to privacy. Because my husband and I are public figures, it is assumed that our daughters are public figures, and there's nothing to protect them."
"There are cars chasing us outside our home day and night through red lights. There is absolutely nothing nothing, nothing on the side of care."
Jen says dropping Violet off at preschool is the biggest ordeal of the day. "When we go to preschool, there are so many paparazzi there that they are knocking kids on the heads with cameras and knocking them down."
She says huge numbers of photographers wait at the school gates every day just waiting to get a snap. "And they're aggressive," she adds. "They talk to her. They yell at her. They try to get her attention. They try to get her to react. It is a shame, shame, shame."
