Am I the only one who thinks that the contestants always overact really badly in their group routines? Tonight the top 12 are all dressed in black catsuits and green feather boas, and they're all emoting like they're starring in a really cheesy scene from Neighbours.

Nat Bass struts onstage, in a boringly normal hair-and-dress combo, and introduces the judges. Because this is the last time in the competition that the judges decide who goes home, they all take one last chance to bitch and moan about what a terrible burden it is to do their one job on the show. Shut up, judges.

Nat reveals that Talia + Loredo and Amy + Ben are the first couples to join the top 10. That pretty much kills any suspense — it's obvious that the ever-popular Penny + Charlie will join them, putting Lamb + Tim, Gianne + BJ and Danny + Kat in the bottom three.

Talia + Loredo's second routine from Sunday night is voted the viewers' favourite. It was pretty good, I guess.

After the break there's an "exclusive" performance from Wes Carr. Who? Oh right, that guy who won Australian Idol last year. His new song is fine, I guess, but is there anyone in the world who really cares about him anymore? They really shouldn't put former reality TV stars on this show, because it only highlights how disposable reality TV stars actually are.

DANCING FOR THEIR LIVES

• Tim does a lively hip-hop routine. I reckon the fact that he's the only B-boy left in the competition will probably save him tonight.

• BJ is weird, because he can dance very well, yet he doesn't look like a dancer (he looks like Zach Braff).

• Danny dances shirtless, which is notable because so far, no boy who's life-danced sans shirt has subsequently been eliminated. Will the trend continue tonight?

• Lamb has grown on me these last two weeks, which of course means she's doomed. Seriously: whenever I like a reality TV contestant, they always always get eliminated shortly after.

• Gianne's number is good stuff. There's zero chance she'll be eliminated tonight.

• Kat says she wants to prove she's not just a silly young thing. She really gives it her all in her routine. All the girls' life-dances were strong this week — it's going to be a toughie for the judges.

THE DANCE DREAM ENDS FOR...

After a guest performance from the Australian Dance Theatre, the judges are ready to announce their verdict. BJ is safe. Saying it was not a unanimous decision, Jason boots Danny with "deep regret". Boo! Poor Danny looks pretty upset about the whole thing.

On to the girls and, no surprise, Lamb is kicked out. I knew that would happen — Lamb is awesome. (Honestly! Watch this video if you don't believe me.) But she's cheerful about the whole thing, thanking everyone for the chance to be in the competition.

Hmmph. I don't think the judges made the right call tonight &3151; but then again, I don't know who I'd've booted instead of Danny and Lamb. Everyone was kind of equally good. So the top 10 has been chosen, but I'm more excited about the fact that the competition is now more than halfway over. Yay! Bring on the finale!

I think charlie should of won!

Can we all just remember this a TV show where people are chosen not because of their dancing but because they make a good show. Producers i suspect work out who is getting booted off by the judges. Danny is an amazing technically strong dancer who should definitely be in the top ten but if you look at the demographics of the non dancers out there watching this show - im sure they all have a love of HIP HOP which hasnt missed being in the show at least twice each episode, a dancer like danny doesnt fit this commercial like of the masses. Its not a talent contest its a popularity contest. Take the music for example - some of the styles of dance dont even fit the music choice - obviously not always the choreographers choice. The show is good watching and i like it, like i like the OC or Sex and the City. The show is great for dance, i just hope the general public who look to hire dancers now realise how much a dancer goes through to work at their art.

i like lamb and all but this article is only based on your opinion and it has no true facts, opinions such as "Lamb has grown on me these last two weeks, which of course means she's doomed. i can't believe LAMB left then again that was the 3 time in a row in da bottem 3!!

Danny going was the worst decision ever. and Same with lamb. But we all knew lamb would go. Jason was on the radio that morning saying how great of a dancer Gianne is and how much she has grown so it was quite clear she wasnt going. AND as for Kat, Jason loves her aswell and never says anything bad except in the Paso Doble. I think *** and Kat should of gone, cause they arnt that great.

I like Lamb a lot..she is really good. Also have such a lovely personality. I thoughtGiann would be gone because she didn't do well at hip-hop routine. Or may be Penny next.

Are you serious is what i thought when Lamb was eliminated I dontcare about Danny as much at all!! I mean Lamb is fantastic at everything shes good at contemperary, Hip-Hop what the heck is with those judges.I would have prefered Giane and *** to go. BOHOO! team Lambomatic is gone!
