Chris Brown was charged today with two felonies, just as a police report containing a chilling blow-by-blow description of his alleged attack on Rihanna was released.
Meanwhile, following news that Rihanna has reunited with Chris, her family say that she's refusing to return their calls.
Detective's notes from a search warrant in the Chris Brown case have been made public by LA's Fox 11 News. Here's what they reveal (as published on perezhilton.com):
After Rihanna read a text message on Brown's phone from a woman, he tried to force Rihanna out of the car, but couldn't because she was wearing her seatbelt.
Brown then allegedly slammed Rihanna's head against her window, and when Rihanna turned to face him, he punched her.
The notes said blood spattered on Rihanna's clothing and the interior of the Lamborghini.
Rihanna also called her assistant, according to FOX 11, leaving a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there."
Brown then reportedly replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you," and proceeded to punch and bite Rihanna. He allegedly put her in a headlock so long that she almost lost consciousness.
Chris Brown has been charged with "assault by means likely to create great bodily injury" and making "criminal threats". He's due to make his first court appearance later today.
Update: Chris Brown appeared in court today but didn't enter a plea meaning he didn't plead guilty or innocent to the charges. The judge granted a continuance until April 6, which means it's possible Chris's lawyer will try to avoid a trial by negotiating a plea deal.
When the judge asked Chris's lawyer if there was a "no contact order" in place, he replied, "Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order."
Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty says she's been unreachable since the weekend and he suspects "somebody" is keeping his daughter from her family. "I can't get on to her. Her mother can't get on to her, her brother told me she changed her email. Somebody has a stranglehold on her. I'm lost," he said.
When asked how he felt about the charges, Ronald said, "I don't know how to react. Chris is a very talented guy. I still think he's a little immature for Rihanna. Justice can never be served in this situation. He can't feel the pain she felt. I don't believe in hitting a woman. I hope everything works out better for them. I don't feel happy or sad. He's in the court's hands. Let justice prevail."
