First look: Baby Bronx

He was given the Worst Celebrity Baby Name award before the world even laid eyes on him but now the oddly-named son of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson has finally shown his cute little baby face — on Pete's blog site.

In his debut public photo, six-week-old Bronx Mowgli can be seen peering out of a blanket, held by his mum and getting a kiss from his dad. Aw, bless.

The accompanying blog reads, "Happy Holidays … We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you. Bronx Mowgli Wentz."

We don't want to diss the spirit of Christmas giving or anything, but perhaps the decision to give away the first image of Bronx was simply because no one would pay for it. According to reports, just a couple of weeks ago Pete and Ashlee were shopping their son's exclusive first photos around to various magazines with a hefty price tag attached. They couldn't find a buyer, so it looks like they decided to do a Nicole Kidman and give the shot away for free.

But at least there's some money going to good causes thanks to Pete and Ashlee's Christmas gift. In their blog message, the couple include a list of charities they'd like their fans to make donations to, including Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's foundation for disadvantaged children.

thats all i ever see is look at pete his hair is bad his denim outfit is bad sewriously obviously he doesnt care!!!! he and ash are both awsome really down to earth celebs and bronx mowgli is the coolest name it means something so wats the problem it doesnt effect anyone and im sure that they did not base their childs name on wat anyone else would think!!! LEAVE PETE ALONE!!!!!!
babies dont look anything alike at that age! im a proud mum of 4 and not a single one of my kids looked the same at birth or at ANY stage of their lives so far. i am also one of 6 and i have 13 nieces and 9 nephews so far and still not a single one that looks the same except for a set of twin girls and thats because they were identical. obviously the person who said they look the same doesnt have any kids or know any young kids either. just wait until you have them, its different then.

I think baby Bronx's name is pretty cool actually its different and the JUNGLE BOOK IS AWESOME why are yous maeking them sound liek bad parents cause they named there baby (middle name) afeter a disney character its stupuid go find someone who isnt famous and ask them what they named there kids we are all human nobody is special we are all equal cant we live that way?
