Sean Penn demands more gay sex

When it comes to man-on-man love, Sean Penn can't settle for a few smoochy sessions, it seems.

The bad boy actor stars in new flick Milk as Harvey Milk, California's first openly gay elected official. But he didn't take on the script without making a few changes first, re-writing the story to include a "full-on love scene".

"In the original script I read, there was only one real kissing scene," said co-star James Franco.

"A month after the director Gus Van Sant asked me to do it, they sent me another script, and on page five there was a full-on love scene. And I was like, 'Gus, what the heck?' He says, 'Well, it was Sean's idea.'"

James had earlier blabbed about how Sean texted his ex-wife Madonna to brag about his first onscreen gay pash.

"After our kiss, Sean texted Madonna and said, 'I just popped my cherry kissing a guy. I thought of you. I don't know why.' "

Love that guy. Adorable.
good on him.
Why do they have to put sex scenes in any movie - gay or straight?? I think we can all use our imagination as to what they get up to. What a load of rubbish!!!! I completely agree with the first comment - you got it in one Sara.
It really annoys me that people think it's ok for two women to kiss, yet not two men. It's up to them! Who cares! Don't want to see it? Don't watch it and don't click on the article. Problem solved!
Whilst this movie may feature a gay protagonist it is, in fact, a work of art. Like all art, we can learn more about individuals who respond and interpret the work than we can any intrinsic qualities of the art itself. Deciding not to see a movie because it contains issues or scenes that do not appeal to the individual is a personal preference, but to deem gay lifestyles and practices as 'unnatural' or 'wrong' is prejudiced, discriminatory and needs to stop. We can only truly progress as a people when we begin to turn the judgment we have for others inwards so as to discover and confront our own fears and insecurities. It takes true leaders to stand up and stop judging others and to start contributing in meaningful ways. Instead of spreading the seeds of division, anger and hate by judging as immoral acts done in private by consenting adults, perhaps you could take to heart the words of a wise songwriter who said it so simply, yet so effectively - All You Need is Love. Peace dudes.
Good on him for demanding the inclusion of a sex scene! It wouldn't be a true portrayal of the man's life if there was just a single kissing scene. I mean c'mon, gay people have sex, get over it. I see no distinction between including a "straight" sex scene in a film and including a gay sex scene in one. This is a film about a gay man, you can't pretend that he never had sex or just ignore the fact because it may offend bigoted homophobes who are obviously uncomfortable within their own sexuality.
ok these comments are just stupid....theres people saying they dont like to see two men kiss unless their hot, that is the most shallow thing ive ever heard and i cant believe that someone would think thats ok to say on the internet. also theres people who reckon sean penn is in the closet, thats just ***, one actor thinks that gay rights are plenty enough that a full love scene should be expected and hes called gay? seriously! what the crap!! lastly to those people that say they would go see this movie if it weren't for the "hardcore" love scenes, its not porn! how do you even know its going to be that bad? if it gets too much for you while you're watching it, look away! i dont care! dont just disregard a movie because of a scene you havn't even seen yet just so people know, im not a gay man complaining about my rights, im just a 14 year old girl who feels strongly about prejudices.
Always had my suspicions about that ?lady. No, kidding, love Madge. Sean has aged horribly, poor ***, hasn't he? Not that he was ever good-looking toi begin with. How does he get work anyway? Must be a scientologist. Now if it was Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp I'd be queueing up.
when is all cool these days to be a gay man? what the hell is wrong with women..you are not born gay, obviously gay men have never been down on a women!!try it you may like it,,the beauty of women is pretty self explanable, their touch, their feel, and the way they look in general,,,{adam and eve} not adam and steve
I am disgusted at the first couple of comments- to say this movie or the inclusion of a love scene is stunt for publicity shows how truely biggoted and homophobic you are. If this were a movie about a human-rights campaign fought by a hetrosexual couple in love with one another, and only consisted ONE scene of them showing affection towards each other, it would be unusual and to the detriment of the film. So too this story. Only people who have never felt the sting of discrimination would comment so irrationally on an important documentation of human rights like Milk, and it is because of people like you that minorities continue to battle. If this were a film about Martin Luther King I can guarentee no one would be on here putting down a love scene between two black people, or a bi-racial couple.
