Zac Efron will throw out your presents

Busted! After fans waited up to 12 hours to see the stars of High School Musical 3 in Melbourne and showered them with gifts - Zac Efron and co reportedly dumped their gift stash at the cinema where the premiere was held and split straight after their rushed appearance.

Stuffed toy kangaroos, koalas, flowers and cards screaming "I love you Zac!" and "Thanks for coming to Melbourne!" were graciously accepted but then left in a room at the venue for cinema staff to take care of.

"Efron and co rushed through their in-cinema speeches, and quickly escaped the complex via a back door, not giving the gift stash a second look as they left the complex," report the Herald Sun.

"Village Cinema staff said they felt so bad for the fans they hid the toys and mounds of flowers in a storeroom out of sight."

The news will no doubt outrage the 3,000 fans who packed into the premiere - but let's get real here. Zac, Vanessa and Ashley must cop teddys and flowers every day of their lives - and keeping them all would probably require hiring an arena-sized storeroom.

Still, fans are on the rampage - with the envy of every tween girl, Vanessa "Zac's girlfriend" Hudgens as their target.

After complaining of "obnoxious and invasive" paps in Sydney during her Australian visit, a blogger commented that "if you don't want photographers snapping pictures of you, don't be an actor."

who cares, anyway thats probs not even true because i saw them up on stage and i got vanessa's autograph and they werent even holding anything so how could they leave something behind that they never even had. anyway when i got vanessas autograph she was really nice and she was like smiling and everyone and stuff, and nobody was getting photos because there were just too many people. anyway i love zac, and vanessa is really pretty =D

i think both zac efron and vanessa hudgens total ***. i mean zac with his presents thing, you just dont do that! its completely mean. and ill tell you why vanessa hudgens is a *** to me, we went to the premire of HSM3 in melbourne n asked her for a photo right but she said 'no, because i have no make up on' in the bitchest voice, then my friend who went to HSM1 asked her for an autograph and guess wat vanessa hudgens said? thats right NO! and walked off.
isn't hsm for pre-teens and kids? isn't the average age of a hsm fan like 13? it's just sad to see all these much older teenagers and young adults into such a juvenile film.
Funny how the article never mentions that the gifts are donated to charities & the children's hospitals.... ie to people who actually need them, not million dollar movie stars
Who cares? If they had to keep every gift they ever got from a pre-pubescent fan, they're need a whole house to store it all in! Here's an idea, don't buy your fave celeb a gift, it's not going to make them remember you anyway.
