I really, really do not see why this is such a big problem. People say evryone should have equal rights, yet they put millions and millions of funding into trying to take the right of gay marriage away. And THAT is what is sick, folks. Love is love people, and whether you like it or not, this will eventually become legal, and its about time. Everyone deserves the right to have their relationship be like any other, because it is. Ellen and Portia will be together forever, you can just TELL! By the way, posting hateful comments against gays on a page does many things - Uses up your time unproductively - Puts hate into the world (that brings back bad karma folks. what goes around, comes around - Could possible make some closeted gays live in fear of coming out their whole lives (imagine if u had to pretend to be something youre not your whole life) - Could make people commit suicide because people wont accept them None of which are positive. Get over the "fear". Please.

congrads to the lovely couple, im glad to know theres a few happy messages left here then jus mean discriminating messages.... jus to comment on one comment made with the title who r we to judge... they talk about their daughter growing up to be beautiful and not handsome... its simply i think with the photo they misjudged the situation, jus becoz it is a same sex relationship does NOT mean one is a man and controlling and the other the woman, its jus as not true as all lesbians being bulky women and short haired (i mean pheeeeeew talk about hot in the dress!!!) and i guess some couples like the man and woman role, but many find it neutral, after all why wuld u be gay and then have your relationship like a straight one that isnt even? congradulations to the lovely couple, and the woman in the suit luks preti too (my mums not gay and she wears those kinda suits lol) beautiful beautiful beautiful, hoping it comes over to Australia's sense that love is love soon. i think it's great that society is FINALLY accpeting gay marriages. they both look so beautiful (especially portia's dress!) they just look so cute together! goodluck to them both. =D

i think its great they got married. so what if they are gay the last time i checked getting married was about love not gender ppl should realise its all about being happy there is nothing wrong with being gay and in all states they should be allowed to marry if they please u go girls show the world what love really is

what is the point of getting married

I don't understand why people waste their time writing horrible and negative thoughts. I agree people have their own opinions but why waste them on a comment board that is obviously for well wishes and happiness to the couple. Don't people realise it doesn't win them any points bagging a couple because their gay... Welcome to the 21st century, love is love, does it honestly effect you and your day ? I don't think so.

I just have to pray and hope that my own daughter won't marry anybody's daughter... I'll be really devastated as you tried to bring your daughter up to become beautiful...not to be handsome!!! But for some reason, I wish them long and lasting love like any other married couple...
