Michelle Williams finds new love after Heath

 25/07/2008 7:49:00 AM, CelebrityFIX Prev Next Michelle Williams is rumoured to be dating film director Spike Jonze - in what would be her first known relationship since splitting from her fiance, the late Heath Ledger.

Michelle, 27, met 38-year-old Spike back in 2006 when she won a role in his flick Where The Wild Things Are. While Michelle ended up dropping out of the film, the pair became friends when they met again in 2007, when Michelle starred in the Spike-produced film Synecdoche, New York. Michelle broke up with Heath just a few months later in September 2007.

Fast forward to July 2008 - Michelle is seen kissing Spike outside his apartment in New York - where she has been spotted several times.

"Michelle kissed Spike with a closed mouth on the corner of his lips," a source told Star magazine.

"There was definitely a bit of caressing going on. She was clutching his arm. The body language was very romantic."

Michelle was left devastated by the passing of ex-fiance Heath in January this year, with the pair ending their three-year relationship only a few months prior to his accidental death.

Heath's best friend, Trevor DiCarlo (who has been spending time with Michelle of late to help look after her daughter with Heath, two-year-old Matilda) is said to be cool with Michelle's new relationship with Spike.

Star magazine quote a source as saying "'I saw Trevor, Michelle and Matilda out for an afternoon in the neighborhood. They walked around chatting, went to a pizza joint for lunch and took the subway.

"Heath would be happy to know all his loved ones are doing so well."

Isnt it so sad that so much conversation rotates around money. Where are we heading these days. People are so very concerned about who gets what its like they forget to just be happy! Happiness is a journey not a destination, so lets totally drop the money issue and just be happy for all. Its sad to loose a loved one at any given time but look at the drownings of young people in pools lately, look at the sad situation in schools with rape, drugs & stabbings going on. Lets make THESE issues our concern and think about what we can all do to overcome these sad situations with children instead of whether Matilda does or doesnt get Heaths money! So many real serious issues to concern ourselves about here. So many kids that are badly done by. So....Let it go folks!!!!
Steve, Heath and Michelle weren't together anymore while he was still alive and he was out and about town with other women and everyone knew that. So let Michelle move on and be happy again. She deserves to find someone and have a normal life without anyone judging her.
It looked to every1 that Heath had moved on with the women he was dating and bedding.Michelle put up with this and tolerated his behaviour and clearly carried herself in a more respectful manner towards him and his feelings.......let her move on and let her be happy,she deserves this as for the money,its Matildas.....
I Think that it's great that Michelle has made peace with eveything that's been going on in her life, I mean it was a great tragedy with Heath passing away and he will be surely missed. I think it's about time that she deserves some happiness in her life and she has a right to see whoever she wants and if this guy makes her happy I say good on Ya Michelle go for it. As for Matilda getting any money from her late father I'm sure Heath's family will do the right thing in the end and make sure she is well looked after in the future, after all she is their grand-daughter.
Heath's family does still have to pay money for Matilda, because she is still his daughter. Matilda is part of Heath, so therefore part of Heath assets will go, in fact likely most of them. Michelle may set up a trust for her, so it's simply Matilda's savings. Heath had moved on after the split ages before Michelle had, and she wasn't with him at the time of his death. Nature takes it own course, she can't mourn forever. I think as long as she is emotionally ready, it is okay. But everyone has a different view.
Steve why would Matilda not be provided for by Heaths estate because Michelle is dating someone? Matilda is Heaths daughter in death as she was in life and what is Michelle suppose to do? Spend the rest of her life alone and lonely because people like you dont think its right she date again? Leave her alone. She deserves to be happy.
Look like she is really move on from the past with Heath. And ready for another relationship. Just like wear a clothe for a while and then take it off when it's not wearable and the put another new one on. So easy and simple. Does this mean that Heath's family would not have to pay for anything to the daughter, she has with Heath?
Good on you! Its great to see her smiling again! =] Hopefully she finds true love with him, im glad she could move on after the tragedy happened... =[
Heath Ledger and her broke ages ago, months before making it official, and he had already moved on and was dating fellow Aussie Gemma Ward. My Aussie friends tell me their families had met eachother and everything and that upon his death her father said that Gemma had made Heath very happy and that now she was devastated. The way I see it, Michelle knew Heath had moved on, and it's time to let her get on with her life, for her own sake and for her daughter's.
Bek .....I dont think people should make judgements on how she grieves. Everyone grieves in their own way!!!
