The rapper-turned-reggae singer basically confirmed in an interview with Huffington Post that his new writing partner Miley has split with her Aussie beau. Watch the video above to hear it straight from the Dogg's mouth.
"I can’t speak for her, ya know what I’m saying, but I know that she has a relationship that no longer exists," he let slip.
"I know she’s probably in a transformation change with her life, her music and her career."
Today, gossip site HollywoodLife.com quoted a source close to the 20-year-old star as saying, "I don’t think [Miley's] mad at Snoop [for what he said]. He’s cool and they’re friends, so it could be that she’s not ready to come out and say what everyone is thinking.
"When she wants to address what’s going on, if there’s anything to even address, she’ll do it when she’s ready."
Snoop's new insight into the matter comes after reports surfaced that Miley had postponed her impending wedding. The former Disney star's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, added to rumours of a definitive break-up by telling American ABC that the two are still "great friends".
"They’re young, they’re kids, the great news is they’re great friends, they’re really good friends," he said.
"I play it by ear, I know whatever’s meant to be that’s the way it’s going to happen."
So are they or aren't they? The Miley-Liam saga is becoming a hot topic of late, perhaps Miley will suddenly reveal all just in time for her album release sometime this year? We shall wait with baited doggy breath.
Meanwhile, we also wonder how long it will take before Snoop drops the "Lion" and decides on another animal to re-christen himself with?
