Having just scored a coveted modelling contract with IMG, the blonde-hair, blue-eyed 17-year-old beauty jumped into the fashion industry with a splash.
Looking happy and healthy, the statuesque teenager braved the cold New York air to pose in a range of racy swimsuits this week for a high-profile editorial in the New York Post.
Considering his widely publicised feud with the publication, we wonder what her dad Alec Baldwin thinks of her debut.
“You know, he has his own agenda and I have my own,” she explained to the newspaper.
“I think he’s very outspoken and he has his opinions, and he’s him and I’m me, and I know he’s done things that he regrets himself and that he’s sorry for, but you know, the past is the past,” she said of her father, who got in a fight with a New York Post photographer and reporter earlier this year.
Currently living with her mother in Los Angeles while finishing high school, Ireland has diverse aspirations for her future that include acting and comedy. But for now, she's happy to stick with studying and modelling, her new agency having big plans for their latest recruit.
In addition to the swimsuit editorial, the leggy blonde is booked an upcoming “It Girl” feature in W magazine, a portrait piece in Vanity Fair (shot by renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier), a potential Guess campaign, Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret gigs.
Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Ireland.
Among all this she still has time for a love life. A shining example of teenage dating circa 2013, she met paddle boarder boyfriend Slater Trout on Instagram.
“I stalked him on Instagram for a really long time. And I kind of got brave and decided to Twitter message him because he was following me, as well,” said the social networking addict.
The pair spoke online for months before a chance encounter at a Starbucks one day. “It wasn’t Catfish style or anything,” she assured.
