Last year we watched every detail of his split from Demi Moore play out in the media, not to mention on their own personal "his and hers" Twitter accounts.
In an interview with Elle magazine, the Two and a Half Men star explained why he's doing things differently with his new love, Mila Kunis.
"I've learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are one of them," the 35-year-old explained.
"And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private."
Ashton and Mila, 29, hooked up last year after his split from Demi. The pair played a couple from 1998 to 2006 on the sitcom That 70s Show, but as for how their friendship blossomed into a relationship years after the show had wrapped, Ashton put his new privacy policy into practice when answering that one: "People will fill in the blanks however they want."
