That didn’t last long! Simon Cowell confirmed last December that he was dating ex-Baywatch star Carmen Electra, but it’s already ancient history.
"I'm now a single man. [Carmen and I] spent time together and she is so much fun. But I'd like to find a girlfriend," Simon told UK newspaper Mirror.
Surely it can’t be hard for the 53-year-old millionaire to snare a full-time lady love?
"I do work a lot and it doesn't leave me very long for women but I have lots of great friends and great women in my life,” Simon said.
"I'm lucky that I have a lot of good people around me. That's very important, especially when you do what I do.
"I'm happy but I would like a girlfriend."
The US X Factor judge split with his former fiancé American Idol make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy at the start of 2012.
He also dated pop star Sinitta and model Terri Seymour and they all remain good friends.
However, it seems that Britain really does have talent, because Simon admitted British women are more his type.
"I do particularly like British women but I haven't got my eye on anyone," he said.
We wonder how Carmen would feel about that comment, Simon!
