The reality star, who called her beau "charming" and "a gentleman" in a Who magazine interview last year, is believed to have split with the Ksubi co-founder in recent weeks.
Lara tweeted picture of herself getting close with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis during Big Day Out last week.
A friend of Lara's told the Daily Telegraph that the picture with the 50-year-old rocker was a "message" to Gareth that their relationship was "dunzo".
Lara has not confirmed the rumoured split herself, but her cryptic tweets provide some clues.
Yesterday she wrote in Italian "Il senso di una fine", meaning, "the sense of an ending". Late last night she followed it with the single word, "breathe".
Just a few days earlier, Lara posted "only humans can cry tears". She just keeps us guessing, doesn't she?
Lara's business manager George Moskos remained tight-lipped when contacted by the Daily Telegraph about the rumours.
Earlier this month, Lara credited Gareth for helping her lose 12kg and "[get] rid of everything that was weighing me down", she said in Who magazine.
In the same mag last year, Lara posed with her boyfriend for a photo shoot, and spilled on her feelings for him.
"He is interested in finding out about me, rather than all the drama going on around me," the Being Lara Bingle star revealed.
"It feels different to any relationship I've been in before. I feel happy and settled."
Who knows, maybe there's some red hot chili love coming Lara's way now.
