To clarify, the 25-year-old former High School Musical star was in New York's Fantasy World adult store to film scenes for his new romantic comedy, Are We Officially Dating?
The paparazzo took some snaps of Zac looking super serious standing next to a throng of glow-in-the-dark dildos — but the fun ended there.
According to the New York Post, Zac spotted the sneaky pap and stopped filming so he could run after him.
"Zac was begging the guy to delete the pictures," an eyewitness told the Post.
"He kept telling him that he has so many young fans and he didn't want them to see it."
The photographer held firm on his decision not to delete the photos. Zac's people quickly made sure it was known that he was only there for filming, no funny business.
Zac was previously spotted in a sex shop in 2008 buying a blow-up sheep doll with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. Vanessa's not such an innocent girl either now, toting guns and getting arrested in a bikini with Selena Gomez in her new movie Spring Breakers. See the raunchy new trailer below:
