She spun the tale on US late-night chat show Chelsea Lately explaining how Craig appeared to be seductively mouthing the words "Hey, f--- you!" at her from across a room.
Shocked, Anne simply replied "f--- you!" right back. That’ll show him.
Craig then stuck two rude fingers up in her direction, to which she promptly did the same. She then added "Would you like me to turn it up?" and raised her middle finger at him. Checkmate, Mr Bond.
Daniel suddenly clicked to what was going on and told her, "Oh no, no, not you," and pointed behind her.
Turns out the suave superstar was actually trading mock-insults with his friend and director Stephen Daldry.
"That's when I realised I'm just an idiot!" Anne confessed.
