Prince William and Duchess Kate's baby news sparks fake 'royal baby' Twitter accounts

The internet moves quickly when it comes to jumping on big news — and there's none bigger than the exciting announcement overnight that Prince William has done his royal duty: Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant.

Spoof Twitter accounts quickly popped up, inspired by the future child of the royal couple.

Taking a peek at profiles like @IamRoyalBaby already reveals status updates like, "I can confirm I am not ginger".

Another, @RoyalFoetus, called out US President Barack Obama: "Dear @BarackObama, one has an excellent nine-month plan for growth. Get in touch. #FiscalCliff".

Across Twitter, new royal baby hashtags are trending. People are already pondering #UnlikelyRoyalBabyNames. Public consensus? It won't be named Shaniqua or Tyrone.

At this point, the Duchess is roughly 12 weeks into her pregnancy, which means we'll need to endure another five months of Twitter commentary. Get ready!
