TV starlet-turned-fashion designer Mary-Kate Olsen, 26, turned more than a few heads over the weekend after taking in an NBA game with her boyfriend, 42-year-old Olivier Sarkozy.
The couple, who reportedly started dating back in December 2011, were spotted at Madison Square Garden watching the New York Knicks take on the Dallas Mavericks.
Sarkozy and Olsen had more than a few courtside moves of their own - the couple not shying away from some very public displays of affection – kissing and cuddling for the cameras.
Olsen, who now works with her sister Ashley in fashion design, looked decidedly casual last night, sporting unkempt hair and a plain hoodie.
Sarkozy, MD of the Washington-based Carlyle Group and brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has come under criticism for the 16-year age difference between he and his lover.
In particular, Sarkozy’s ex-wife, Charlotte – a children’s book author who also shares two kids of her own with Sarkozy – has deemed the relationship “grotesque”.
The Olsen twins aren’t shy of dating older men. Ashley Olsen dated cyclist Lance Armstrong back in 2007 when the actress was just 21. Before his death, Mary-Kate was also rumoured to be seeing actor Heath Ledger.
