Lethal Weapon tough guy Mel Gibson may have finally met his match in 38-year-old Californian stuntwoman, Ashley Cusato.
The two were spotted canoodling at a sushi restaurant in Malibu on Sunday.
According to a source at TMZ, Mel and Ashley have been dating for a month and things are going well.
Ashley may not look familiar at first glance, but she has been a stunt actress since the ‘90s in shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Baywatch.
Most recently Ashley has appeared as Emily Deschanel’s stunt double in Bones. She has also stood in for Denise Richards (Sex, Love & Secrets), Penelope Cruz (Woman on Top) and Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries).
Although she went to stunt driving school for her work as Jennifer Aniston’s stunt double in Rumour Has It, the scenes were eventually cut out by director Rob Reiner.
Mel was dating Italian singer Nadia Lanfronconi briefly this year, but seems to have ended things in favour of kick-ass karate brown-belt Ashley.
