US X Factor judge Britney Spears has shocked fans with her heavily Photoshopped and disastrously-wigged appearance on the cover of Lucky magazine.
Catty posts to the magazine’s Twitter account accused Lucky of Photoshopping Britney's face and body together.
One fan tweeted, “Did @britneyspears even show up for the photo shoot or did you just Photoshop her face on a body?” Harsh!
Lucky magazine tweeted their apologies: "Thank you all for sharing your thoughts on our cover! As always, we will share with our team and we're sorry to have let some of you down."
Britney has endured a lot of bad press over the past few years from breakdowns to baldness, so it comes as no surprise that her fans are on the defensive.
