On Sunday, the birthday girl and her beau enjoyed the romantic canal city of Venice. Kanye was photographed buying Kim a rose, as she gazed on lovingly in a lacy white dress.
According to Hollywood Life, Kanye sent his friends some text messages and pictures, including a photo of "Kimye" enjoying a toast.
"Happy birthday to the BADDEST b---- on earth," Kanye said, a close source relayed to Hollywood Life.
Choice of pet name aside, the rapper is obviously enamoured with Kim (see below pics). But did he propose?
"I think we could definitely see an update on this story on Monday," Ryan said.
Well, there has been an update, but not the one Ryan may have hoped for.
Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban told Huffington Post that Kanye didn't put a ring on it.
"She wrote me this morning and didn't mention it," John said.
Keep in mind that Kim is still technically married to Kris Humphries as they continue their lengthy divorce proceedings.
"Kimye" returned to New York yesterday in time to attend a charity ball.
"Just got back in town and wanted to thank you all for the amazing birthday wishes! They all made me smile! I can't thank you enough!" Kim tweeted a few hours ago.
