Sporting a Thor hairstyle and staring deeply at the camera in black-and-white, the 48-year-old actor delivers a monologue that's either the most seductive or cheesiest moment of his career.
"It's not a journey. Every journey ends but we go on," Brad utters huskily.
"The world turns, but we turn with it. Plans disappear, dreams take over, but wherever I go, there you are."
Does that smell of "stalker" to you? Brad would rather "revolutionary".
"What's important to remember about Chanel No 5 is how revolutionary this fragrance is," Brad said in a statement.
"When it was introduced, it broke all the rules by discarding meaningless ornamentation for an honest and open aesthetic … Chanel No 5 has always been the most iconic women's fragrance."
He went on to say that the new campaign goes to the heart of "a woman's spirit". Eau de no!
It didn't have quite the same effect on The Today Show's Lisa Wilkinson, who claimed that the ad has put her off her favourite perfume.
