Stepping out of a New York City restaurant after dinner with girlfriend Stacy Keibler, George caught sight of a homeless man wearing a military jacket and dog tags sitting by the road.
The Academy Award winner stopped for a brief chat with the man, before giving him some money. The charitable moment was conveniently snapped by the paparazzi.
Stacy stood by George throughout the encounter — disproving rumours they are no longer an item.
The pair had been dining with George's ex Karen Duffy and actor Bill Murray.
