The 56-year-old actress and dancer met jeweller Albert DePrisco at her recent birthday celebration. The couple were introduced by a mutual friend.
"It's new, and they're taking it slow," Lisa's rep told People magazine.
Lisa penned a memoir with her late husband titled The Time of My Life. It was released just two weeks after the Dirty Dancing star lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in September 2009.
Her second book, Worth Fighting For: Love, Loss and Moving Forward, was released earlier this year, revealing the couple's struggles during their long marriage, including Patrick's alcohol abuse issues.
"No relationship is perfect," Lisa told the Huffington Post.
"You hang in there and you don't give up. And of course you are going to have bad times. I would be with Patrick a million times over if I could — warts and all."
