Carmen Electra has split from fiancé Rob Patterson (not to be confused with Robert Pattinson).
Carmen and Rob were engaged in April 2008, but rumours of a rift have dogged the pair since May this year.
Rob confirmed the news on Facebook, changing his status to "single" on Monday.
"They have been trying to work things out for a while, but it just wasn't possible," one source told Radar Online.
We don't think Carmen was trying very hard, to be honest. The 40-year-old blonde Baywatch bombshell was recently spotted on a very public date with Simon Cowell.
According to In Touch Weekly, she and Simon were making out in full view of diners at a West Hollywood restaurant last week.
