Reese Witherspoon has given birth to a baby boy, and named him after the US state she grew up in.
Tennessee James Toth is her third child, her first with husband Jim Toth, who she married in March this year.
"Both mum and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled," Reese's spokeswoman said in a statement on Thursday.
The Oscar winner was born in Louisiana, but grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She has two children from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe — daughter Ava, 13, and son Deacon, 8.
Tennessee joins the likes of other celebrity babies named after places, such as Phoenix Chi Gulzar (Mel B's eldest daughter) and Paris Jackson (Michael's daughter).
