Sofia Vergara's butt split her dress open 20 minutes before she went on stage at the Emmys

Usually it's her boobs that get all the attention, but Sofia Vergara's buttocks got their moment in the spotlight after she suffered a major wardrobe malfunction at the Emmys last night.

The curvy Modern Family star busted out of her own outfit just 20 minutes before taking to the stage with her cast-mates to accept the award for Outstanding Comedy.

"Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!" the Colombian star tweeted along with a photo of her bum cheeks peeking out from behind a broken zipper.

Tweeting a second pic of an assistant sewing the outfit back together, Sofia wrote, "20 min [before] Modern Family won!! Dress malfunction!!! Thank you emergency team!!"
