The R&B singer risked coming across as a complete douche when Oprah asked him during her latest Oprah's Next Chapter TV interview if he gets it on to his own songs.
"Some would say this would be rather narcissistic, but yeah," the 33-year-old singer confessed (watch video above).
Oprah could barely contain herself, rapturously yelping: "If I were you, I would!"
In what might be considered more self-love than love-making, the singer went on to say without shame that he does "a pretty good job at it".
"I'm a good motivator for the moment," he said.
Oprah, obviously loving where the conversation was going, asked if his songs are already playing when he brings the (lucky?) lady to the bedroom. "Nuh come on, I don't think I'd go that far. I think if maybe I have a playlist or something like that prepared," he said.
He went on to say that some guys "don't even care to put music on", but he likes "to set the mood before I actually go there". What a nice guy.
Usher even went as far as suggesting a few of his new songs that would be perfect sex fodder.
"'Dive' would be a good one. 'Climax' would be a good one towards the end of the session," he said.
Usher added that his "sex playlist" also consists of Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass, to which Oprah resoundingly agreed.
On a more serious note, Usher spoke for the first time about dealing with his 11-year-old stepson Kile's tragic death after a boating accident in July.
"I miss Kile. We cooked together, we laughed, we sang. He loved to sing and dance. He loved to tell jokes," Usher reflected.
He also opened up about winning custody of his two children from ex-wife Tameka Foster, and the fling he had with Tameka's bridesmaid.
"Towards the end of our marriage I found myself lost, and I just wanted out. No. I was faithful at heart, but not faithful all the way," he revealed.
