The repetitive strain of constantly flipping off photographers has finally taken its toll on Kristen Stewart.
The surly actress was spotted passing through LAX Airport today wearing a brace on her left middle finger.
No word yet on what caused the injury, but we know that digit of hers gets a regular workout at movie premieres, mag shoots and any other event where cameras dare to come near her.
Even more nerve-wracking is the 22-year-old's scheduled appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards tomorrow night — where she faces an awkward reunion with jilted ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
The former couple were supposed to present an award at the event, and although it's unlikely they'll appear on stage together now, neither has cancelled.
VMA host Kevin Hart confirmed to Bang Showbiz, "From what I understand they're both still gonna be here. I'm not really up to speed on the whole soap opera that's been going on between them. I know they've got a movie to promote.
"Twilight's coming out so it makes sense for them to show up at the VMAs if you ask me."
According to reports, Kristen and Rob have started speaking to each other again, so it's possible (although pretty unlikely) that they'll show a united front for the cameras ... if Kristen doesn't decide to flip them all off, that is.
