Vanessa Paradis has a new boyfriend.
The actress and singer, who recently ended her 14-year relationship with Johnny Depp, is reportedly dating French millionaire Guy-David Gharbi. The new couple first met on a flight from Los Angeles to Paris in May.
A source close to both Vanessa and Johnny told The Sun, "Vanessa and Guy-David have become close over the last few months and even though they are still taking things slowly, they are dating now. Guy-David's made his feelings clear for Vanessa but told her he's happy to give her all the time she needs."
Guy David is well-known in France as the owner of Usinedeco – likened to being the French Ikea.
The same source said, ''They've been going for quiet romantic dinners in Paris and just enjoying each other and having fun. It's been a very healing thing for her. Guy-David's put a smile back on Vanessa's face, she looks younger and is even singing and writing songs again."
Vanessa and Johnny, parents to Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10, have reportedly had an amicable split. The source said that they still share a house in the South of France, and when Vanessa stayed there with Guy-David last month it was with Johnny’s full blessing.
''What they care about more than anything is remaining a close family because their two kids are and always will be their main priority. Johnny's a good and emotionally evolved guy and all he wants for her now is for her to be happy," said The Sun.
Johnny’s romance with actress Amber Heard has apparently fizzled following their hook-up on the set of The Rum Diary last year.
