When Skype just isn't enough, why not send a private plane to pick up your significant other?
That's what Taylor Swift is said to have done for new boyfriend Conor Kennedy, of the political Kennedy family dynasty.
Leaving Conor's home in Massachusetts to head back to Nashville for work, the 22-year-old singer missed her 18-year-old beau so much she sent a jet to pick him up and drop him into her arms.
"Taylor missed Conor so much, she sent a plane for him a few days later. He's been with her ever since, and his family doesn't know when he will be back," a source told the New York Post.
"Things have become so serious between them so fast that no-one in [Conor's family home at] Hyannis Port would be surprised if they eloped."
Let's not hold our breaths on that one — the pair have only been together since July.
However, a Kennedy source has confirmed that the couple are "inseparable and are all over each other all the time".
The source also told the New York Post that Conor's relatives find their "lovey-dovey behaviour" to be "cute", while they've made others feel "a little uncomfortable".
Rumours surfaced last week that Taylor had even bought a home next door to Conor's family, but they were quickly scuppered when it was found a high-flying New Yorker had bought the house instead.
It's not like the hugely successful country-pop singer needs to lay down her routes in Conor's backyard just yet. There's always that private jet.
